Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof® – Waterproofing & UV Protection

Protect your outdoor gear from rain and sun damage with Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof®. This easy-to-use treatment restores Durable Water Repellency (DWR) while providing added UV protection, helping extend the life and performance of tents, packs, awnings and other synthetic outdoor equipment.

Unlike many solvent-based treatments, Tent & Gear SolarProof® is water-based and can be applied to wet or dry fabric, so there’s no need to wait for your gear to completely dry before treatment.

For the best long-term protection, Nikwax recommends treating new equipment early. With regular outdoor use, dirt, weather and general wear can reduce water repellency and UV protection. Simply reapply Tent & Gear SolarProof® when required to restore performance.
