Built for adventure, the Black Diamond 400 Lumen Headlamp delivers powerful, dependable lighting for camping, hiking, hunting, trail running and everyday outdoor use. Featuring Dual Fuel technology, it gives you the flexibility to run either the rechargeable Black Diamond BD 1500 Lithium Ion battery or the included AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring you're never left without power when it matters most.

With up to 400 lumens of brightness and a beam reaching up to 100 metres, this headlamp provides outstanding visibility in both close range and long distance conditions. PowerTap™ Technology lets you instantly switch between full brightness and a dimmed setting with a simple tap, while Brightness Memory remembers your preferred light level every time you turn it on.

The versatile lighting modes include proximity, distance, dimming, strobe and a dedicated red night vision mode that can be activated directly without cycling through the white light. An integrated battery meter displays the remaining battery percentage, so you'll always know how much runtime you have left.

Designed for harsh outdoor environments, the IPX8 waterproof construction allows the headlamp to operate underwater to a depth of 1.1 metres for up to 30 minutes. Digital Lock Mode prevents accidental activation while stored in your pack, helping conserve battery life between adventures.

Please Note: The rechargeable Black Diamond BD 1500 Lithium Ion battery is sold separately. The headlamp includes 3 x AAA alkaline batteries, so it's ready to use straight out of the box.
